Webmail purchase and download information
We had some minor technical issues with ordering on Saturday March 4th, 2006 due to a server move. But everything is up and running now.
Regular License
Before you find out what kind of license applies to your case, please go to the requirements page and learn about what is additional software is required and not included in WebmailASP.
For a webmail site with less than 100 end users, all you need is the Regular License:

License conditions for your webmail download:
- The maximum number of end users is 100 (see Supplemental License.)
- You may make changes to the source code to add functions or to change layout, but only on a specific installation. You may not build and distribute an application based on the code or portions of the code of WebmailASP.
- One license corresponds to a single web domain (but multiple POP domains are OK.) Deploying WebmailASP on both www.a.com and www.b.com requires one license for each. There are no limits on the number of server machines or CPUs associated with each domain. If a given domain uses 10 load-balance, dual-CPU servers, you still need only one license, not 20. Are you a hosting or domain reseller company? For more info see the box "Many Domains?" on the right.
- Updates with bug fixes are provided FREE. Upgrades with new major functionality require a new purchase. (For example: from 1.1 to 1.2 would be an update, from 1.1 to 2.0, an upgrade).
Supplemental License
If you have or plan to have more than 100 webmail end users, you will need to purchase the Supplemental License. The two licenses are used in conjunction: first you buy the Regular License (and get your webmail download) and then you purchase the Supplemental License. The Supplemental License removes your account-number limitation, but it still applies to only one domain.

- There is no limit on the number of end users.
- All other conditions of the Regular License still apply.

Multiple domains?
Just because one WebmailASP license corresponds to only one webmail web site, it doesn't mean that a hosting company or a domain reseller company needs to buy hundreds or thousands of licenses.
Suppose that, for example, Hostway (a big hosting company) is hosting the web sites of two different
customers: customer1.com and customer2.com. Each customer has a bunch of
email addresses. For example, Customer 1 has sales@customer1.com and
Customer 2 has sales@customer2.com.
Customers can check their email through regular desktop email apps, or they
can use Hostway's webmail application. Which domain does Hostway use to
publish its webmail application? customer1.com? customer2.com? No. All
customers go to sitemail.hostway.com.
As you can see, Hostway sells thousands of domains, but this company would
only require a $97 license (regular + supplemental) if they were to buy
WebmailASP.
The WebmailASP imposes a restriction on the number of web server domains, not on the number of POP server domains.
